Clark Straw
Clark Straw is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with a distinguished career spanning over 30 years in technology, venture science, and leadership. As a former senior executive at Hewlett-Packard, he led the U.S. sales and support organization and played a pivotal role in developing the company’s global partnership and alliances program for its computer business.

Following his tenure at HP, Clark served as Executive Vice President & General Manager at Hitachi Data Systems, where he drove strategic growth initiatives.

After a successful corporate career, he embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime sailing expedition across the Pacific to Australia aboard his yacht, Final Straw.

Upon returning, Clark transitioned into the life sciences sector as Chairman & CEO of Leading BioSciences, guiding the company through critical stages of growth. Recognizing the transformative potential of AI and data-driven decision-making in venture investing, he co-founded LabX Ventures, one of the pioneering firms in Venture Science. Today, as Chairman of LabX Ventures, Clark continues to lead innovation at the intersection of AI, analytics, and early-stage investing, empowering startups and investors with predictive insights to drive success.
